I noticed that my sister-in-law is once again starting a campaign to raise money for breast cancer awareness so she can participate in this year's AVON Walk in San Francisco. To all who visit this site, may I encourage you to participate yourself by contributing to this important cause. Whether your donation be large or small, it will make a difference.
This morning I pitched in $30 bucks and look forward to donating more in the months leading up to the event itself. All who are interested in walking commit to raise a certain dollar amount to participate, which happens to be $1,800. AVON raised over $7 million total from all who joined in last July! Let's help raise that $1,800 this year!
Kari, her mom, Kathi, and sister, Kimberly (who this posting is about) dubbed themselves *The Jibbley Girls* and have a website up and running (click here) where you can go to make a tax-deductible donation. The site is safe and secure and your money will not be used to harm any animals for research.
Kari was able to nail down the $1,800 total last spring and she trained for months leading up to the momentous occasion. For two days she walked about 40 miles with her mom and sister. They had an experience of a lifetime.
Since then, they have had an increased awareness of this devastating illness that affects millions of women, and men, too. While Kari is pregnant and unable to do the extensive training that is required, and the walk, too, we here in our home will do all we can to help the other Jibbley Girls to make it for their second walk.
Check out their page, which you can get to by clicking the above link and see what they're all about. You will be glad you did. So will I! Perhaps your business, or the business you work for would like to make a contribution. The more money we are able to raise, the better. And the sooner the better, too!
Thanks again for your consideration.
L to R: Kari (my wife), Kathi (mother-in-law), Kimberly (sister-in-law)

Love,
Alex
