July 23, 1994

We tracted out by Alice Hand's house this morning. At 12pm, Debe lunched us. Her son told us falsely that she was not home. Ugh! We got into the car just as the skies opened and began to pour down rain.

When we arrived home, I received my mail: a cute b-day card from Sis. Loretti, a post card from Dallas, and a letter from Heather McComber!

So we got 71 phone contacts before I dropped my slacks at the cleaners. I am finally having my brown slacks fixed ($33) so I have to ask for the money.

We stopped by the Swires to invite them to the Branch Pioneer Day Picnic. They wanted to go, but failed to come to the activity, which was some fun and well attended.

Bro. Hinsdale, the Walkers, and us had a brief correlation meeting afterwards about the Reactivation program and Missionary Sunday & the fireside. I volunteered to talk on Faith in Jesus Christ. Yeah!
