9/2 - I had a terrible sleep (a sty in my eye). But it was gone in the morning. We went to a nearby park and played 21 (hoops). I lost, 21-19. =(
So we tracted Marita Anne St. in Northfield. No luck, there.
Had a bite to eat for lunch. Then we tracted a court out by the church and taught a porch first to Dannette Henry, an older Catholic lady who was very impatient. She gave us an inch, we "took five miles," I said.
We spent the next several hours tracting. Since I have been here, I feel like they just didn't plan anything. I am kind of disappointed that all we've done is tract. This is weak. Try being selective in what you do.
So we ordered pizza (20 bucks - too much) and from there visited a way inactive lady, who did seem interested. Her name is Millie. But she works casinos. That'll do it.
Wilson said there was no one else to visit. Bogus day.
So I called the Shims. They answered!! I talked to Linda and her sister-in-law from Miami was up on Wed. and they didn't have our number to call us so I rescheduled for Sunday night! That was cool.
Steuart + Rumsey didn't teach, but did tons of tracting, dinner at the Kesslers, and visited with Christina Eisele. I am kind of anxious to return to Cape May.
One thing I have learned is that I really would like to be a mission leader, but maybe I need to be a bit more spiritual and show more faith than I have.
I know I could be a great leader. Maybe not. Who knows? I guess I should just do my job that I have.
