We drove up to the Vineland Ward for our interviews. Pres. Morley talked about motivation and success and how we keep our energy level up. It was more of a group discussion.
I was interviewed by Pres. Morley and I had him renew my Temple Recommend. I do feel worthy to perform that most Holy work.
Plus, Pres. helped me understand that not everyone has a "conversion" story. It is a privilege never to have doubted the gospel. I had a great interviews!
Afterwards, Garner + Mooy went with us to good old Barbie Fisher's for a hot dog lunch.
Then, Mooy and I went tracting in the rain (downpour) but we had a real blast! Plus, he talked on my tape to Sister Adams in Dutch. He is awesome. About 15 guys drinking beer let us in to their house and another old man kept saying "Nothin' wrong with that." It was funny!
We ate dinner at Taco Bell. Then talked until Steuart + Garner returned. We both taught 00's. Ours was to a black lady. It was rushed, but OK.
We went home teaching to a sweet 94-year old member, Gertrude Blose. We went with Brother Tarasevich. We went home after that and played horse on his Nerf hoop.
Steuart interviewed their investigator, Eric Gardner, for baptism. It was good! He is baptized on Sunday.
We said our goodbyes and drove home. Got here at 11pm.
Mom wrote in sending RICKS application. Pres. Morley has to sign it. He told me he doesn't recommend I go home early. Well, I called Mom. She told me she'd check out the availability of starting on the Block in October. I hope it works out that way. She's OK. I invited her to the Temple with me when I come home. She'll think about it. I hope I wasn't too pushy. I'll talk more about it to her later.
Dear, sweet Reta Hall sent me $20 again. I love her.
Grandma sent stamps and a letter. Michelle also wrote, from ARK. She's a sweetie, too. GOOD NIGHT!
