October 14, 1994

Oct 14th - We had a great morning comp. study role-playing the 2nd Discussion!

Tracted a nearby street. No luck. So we got our 32 phone contacts. No luck, still.

Elder Rogers went with me to ACME and he got some food.

Then we tracted the remaining people at The Channel Apartments. We taught an older fella, (retired lay preacher) a disc 00. We saw Carlin Stansfield. She told us she'd try and call tonight. Either she forgot or just didn't.

We drove to Erma and tracted near the Walker's house. We taught a 26-yr. old lady (single) who lived with 3 cats. We did a 00 and 1st disc. Both disc. were weak.

Rogers' voice has been bugging him. Well, we talked with two nice ladies walking down the street and then headed to the Walkers for steak, potatoes, and delicious apple crumble a la mode for dessert!

I called Linda Shim from their house. She's anxious somewhat to come to church on Sunday.

I bought a $5 FONCARD at Wawa. Left a message on Cindy's phone at Miami and Called Aunt Mary Jo - she called back - in ARK and we talked. Real sweet lady.

Plus, we dropped the phonebook off at the Kessler's and talked to them for a little bit.

They gave us some frozen foods. Rogers is cool (many distractions) but workable!

Oh! We also visited Jim & Dawn Moore and family. Plus, I arranged to have Jim pick us up in the morning tomorrow on our way to the dry-canning project at the Bishop's Storehouse, (from the Walker's). Good night! (And ... I need to be more obedient, too. I guess the FONCARD idea was neat, but not right, either. So ... sorry.) Bye! (Bridget wrote!)
