Janette Walker drove us up to Joi Clydesdale's. There we found a spectacular display of food. I love Joi so much for making this baptism a memorable service. How considerate! How beautiful! How blessed! So we dropped the food off at the church.
Rogers and I played two more games of NBA James and I won both; the one on a last second dunk!
So we came home to prepare for tonight!
The church was being prepared by Al Ruthenbeck as was the font. The Jetts, Allan, Ellen L., Jim Moore, Hinsdales, DeFeos, Walkers, Margaret Neuterman, and the Neuterman's great aunt "Gaga" (whome I nearly invited to have the discussions) as well as the Adams, Peggy C., the Fentons, and McCallums all came. The program is on the flip side of this page. Rogers baptized Bobby and Angela. I baptized Mike and Trish. She gave me a big kiss after I baptized her. I felt the Spirit more strongly inside of me than ever. It never fully sunk in just exactly what I have accomplished until after the service; until now; I still do not know what affect I have had in the life of that family.
We all had refreshments and socialized at the reception. It was very well done. I am glad the service was as smooth as it was. I called Dad tonight to tell him of my excitement. He was pleased. And I also knelt in prayer to tell my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ of my sincere thanks and of my excitement to receive such a choice blessing. My heart truly pounds with joy! Good night!
