Nov. 20th - The Neutermans drove us up into Cherry Hill for Stake Conference. Trish told me she's reading D&C 76. That's great!
President Morley gave a talk on the importance of the family in our church. Great talk. After conference, I introduced him and Sister Morley to the Neuterman family. Conference was great! I have to admit knowing many more people for different reasons in the Reading Stake than I do in Cherry Hill.
The Neutermans treated us to lunch. It felt weird eating in a restaurant on Sunday. We met the older lady from Erma when we tracted there before D/A at the Walkers one night. She was there with her husband. Very nice lady.
Trish had to get the saddle for her horse over on Dias Creek Road. Well, while she was there, Rogers and I walked over to the DeFeo's. Dave had a swollen mouth from an abscessed tooth. Rogers anointed his head. I gave him a blessing. He should be all right. I love the DeFeo family and especially the Neuterman family.
Rogers and I tracted Cloverdale Ave and an older drunk fellow screamed at us to leave because he was "Christian." He shoved me. I him not to touch me. Boy was I upset.
On our last door, a Catholic lady, Pat, and her daughter Marsha let us in for a 00 and 1st, but were more interested in talking over us than letter the Spirit teach them. We left.
Mike Linzey picked us up and we ate delicious chicken parmesan at their home. At one point, lil' Mikey was choking on a piece of fajita, so Ellen promptly and properly applied the Heimlich maneuver and saved him from choking further. Whew! (Deep breath.)
Tonight, we got phone contacts. No returns. Oh! And before we left the Linzeys, Dave and Terri Hinsdale came over for the placement program. Well, we talked with Dave about the fireside (with John Altieri, etc.) and a real need for a correlation meeting. We set one up for tomorrow morning at seminary. Good night!
10 disc. OK week. Need to add next week.
