Nov. 28th - We each got our phone contacts before going out today. Rogers wanted to buy a telephone. We stopped in at SHOP RITE and played NBA JAMS. I won (7-3). While there, we bumped into Pinkie and Kelsea Candell and Audrey Kessler, who was obviously still reflecting on her Patriarchal Blessing. That's great.
And then we went to STAPLES, an office supply store, where Rogers got the phone.
We then went to ACME to drop off film and Rogers bought Christmas cards.
Finally, we tracted in North Cape May. We got a lot of contacting done, but none interested.
Pinkie was here to pick us up when we got home from the Hinsdales, where I went to pick up chocolate chip cookies that Lisa L., Danielle, Eryn, and Lori H. all made for me including a note of thanks for serving here and they'll be sad when I leave. I'll miss them, too.
Well, we ate PIZZA HUT with the Candells and had a brief F.H.E. lesson on stealing. Mike, their son, is still out West with friends. They don't seem to be, but I can tell Pinkie is upset.
Bruce Becktel brought us to the Neutermans for the 2nd new member lesson. I spilled hot chocolate and so we got off to a great start. Well, I was much more happy and excited to be there last night and it was a great discussion on F.H.E. and a follow up on the WofW, chastity, and tithing. The Neutermans are such rocks! Trish is a visiting teacher. Angela now is jogging in the morning with the Hinsdale girls and then going to seminary! (Not to mention she has a serious crush on Rogers. So I don't say much at all to her. Just to Trish mainly and certainly Mike, when he is around.)
Bruce also consecrated oil and we administered to Trish because she was having a problem with her arm and hopefully the Lord will pour out a blessing of healing on her. Good night!
