I thought Sunday would never come! The Roper family gave wonderful talks in Sacrament meeting. I accompanied the choir in a hymn, "Jesus, Savior." The ending was jumbled a little. I was never able to practice.
We had a brief correlation meeting after church and were able to discuss the Open House and member workshops.
This afternoon we tracted a new development of homes. One lady shouted at us to leave. "How dare you knock on our private home to sell you religion to us! Get out!" We did a 00 with a man working on his boat. Not too interested in the church as it turned out.
We met Bro. Bailey at the church and Home Taught a part-member family: the Lopez's. He is inactive.
Then we went to do "Love One Another" with Joe Callisto. He goes, "Are you Mormons? Don't even think about it!" Slam!
Bro. Bailey made Ward Rosters for us. I entertained on the piano while we waited. He asked me to play a few hymns and give a talk in church on February 19th. Cool!
Tonight, Nick DiMeo and Al Lutz brought us over to visit with Bro. Warden for a 1st disc. and 00. Much of what was said in Italian so we hope Nick is still interested in the church.
Tonight, the SF 49ers defeated the SD Chargers, 49-26, in Super Bowl 29. Steve Young was 24-36 passing w/ no interceptions and the game's MVP. Cool!
