February 25, 1995

Feb. 25th - This morning we played dunk ball on a demonstration "sport court." Pretty cool. I got my haircut and Olson brought shirts to be cleaned.

We tracted for 4.5 hours today. The highlight was over at Ted Ottey's home with his wife and him. They were contacted around Christmas when they were new parents! They have two girls: Harmony and Melody. They have a lot of quetions for us. The Spirit was very strong. We had answers for every question. It was a wonderful discussion!

Both Ted and his wife were Bible students at Liberty University. Heavy Baptists. He goes to a Mennonite church. But they'd like to have the Discussions.

We arranged to return on Wed. night at 7:30pm.

We did meet another man who stayed away from churches because they all confused him. So I volunteered the Joseph Smith story about how he overcame the same confusion.

And we got into a philosophical debate with another man on his porch for a little bit.

I really enjoyed teaching Ted and his wife. That made my day.

Tonight was the progressive dinner. As soon as we got to the Larsens, Chrissy Smith told us to stay away from her friends. As if ... that really irritated me; that she would assume we would do or say the wrong thing. Whatever. The whole thing was like a high school party.

We got really lost on our way to the Roper's. No directions. More mad!

So, we went to Coffee'n'Cream and hung out with Amy Clay for 1/2 hour. She fed us. That was cool.

I also spoke to Chelsea today. She is injured from her recent car accident. She broke her nose and breast, and has a black eye. I feel so sorry for her.
