We played basketball at a local park with John Roberts this morning. I was on fire, and won the game! We had fun spending some of our time with him.
This afternoon we spent tracting in Crum Lynne and we set up an appointment for tomorrow with a woman who just quit stuying with the Jehovah's Witnesses. Her husband was shouting from inside the house at her back as we left. He did not want us back.
So we actually met some JW's on our way further down the street. They wanted to brag about being the only people to speak out on war, etc. I was very polite and agreeable. Elder Decker wanted to bash so bad. I wouldn't let him. "You are so mild-mannered and open-minded," she conceded before leaving. Mission accomplished!
One of the complexes we visited had a tame little squirrel, "Sammy" on the porch. One of the neighbors tossed Sammy a peanut. I asked if I could feed him one. She tossed me one to feed him and spread a few more around. I ate mine - guess I was hungry. But I actually fed Sammy from my hand. Such a good squirrel. Elder Decker fed Sammy with his hand, too.
Tonight, we ate dinner with the Patriarch and his family. They are a nice group of people!
Afterwards, we visited Clyde and Fran Ard, and their granddaughters visiting from Washington. We read the "Brother Lurch" story. They seemed to enjoy it. They gave us some goodies and we came home for the night!
