Aug 24th - Service. What did we do today? To give an idea of a regular day ... we meet in the gym and shoot the basketball and/or go outside for lunch. Most of the children are wild and some are on medication because they have chemical imbalances. Mary Ann and I have about 14 children in our group. She is a sweet girl. Very friendly.
This afternoon we tracted for hours after being "lunched" by Mark Brody. The apartment complex in which he lives is full of immigrants from Poland, China, and the Ukraine. Nice folks. We may have to get a few foreign BofMs.
Tonight, a small group including Neal, Nicole, and Mary Ann plus 2 other friends came to Bennigans for a birthday dinner in honor of Mary Ann's 21st! It was a blast.
I'l sure miss them when I leave!
