9/9 - Al Ruthenbeck drove us to the Birds' for DDM. Elder Rumsey did a "Nightly Planning" workshop. I did a skills game on the discussions. Afterwards, Sister Bird provided us a lunch.
We went on splits after Garner had a PPI with Steuart. First we visited Al's father's gravesite. Then we stopped in to visit Joy Clydesdale, who fed us lunch, bless her! We talked to a real nice Jewish lady from Avalon there.
Finally we got home. I canceled with Nadine and then we drove into No. Wildwood and tracted 12th St. teaching a porch first to a zealous Catholic woman, Angela, who had a Theological Degree. However, she was not well educated on her own belief.
Three doors or so later, we were invited in by a woman, Kim, who had a couple visiting. The husband stayed to visit with us. They were both intently listening. It was a great first discussion. She felt "goose bumps" during Joseph Smith Principle. We left a strong commitment to read and pray by Wed when we return at 7pm.
We hurriedly drove to the Linzey's for a delicious dinner and left, unfortunately quickly to go splits with Clint Walker and Bruce Becktel.
Bruce and I visited the Kessler's. Clint and Garner visited the Taylors and the Altieri's: talked about baptism with John who is an active non-member in the Branch.
From there we met again and talked to our neighbor (drunk) out in the street. Garner and I talked to Bailey and told him to tell Steuart we'd be in late.
We had a police escort to the Shims and dropped off "What is Real?" to Edward who gladly welcomed us in. I am excited about that family!
Bruce treated us to Wendy's. We are FULL today! A great day!
