12th - At 7:15am, we got a phone call from President Morley. Elder Steuart is gone. He's a Zone Leader in the NJ North Zone, Marlton area. Comps with Elder Porter. My new companion will be Elder Rogers. And I've been called, President said, "It's time for you to be Senior Companion." Oh wow. No, it's just I feel different. More prepared this time around. I will heed Pres. Morley's counsel, "Be A Missionary!" I talked to Rogers, he is a cool guy! From Ogden, UT.
Elder Steuart. Well, we've had quite a time together thus far on our missions and more especially since we have served together. I'll miss least all the talk of Julie, landscaping, his watch, farting, sleeping in, and doddling. I'll miss his willingness to work, and work together; teaching good discussions, and unity he liked to create. He's a good elder!
We got all our chores done by noon, although we still have a bit to clean in the apartment by inspections next week, I believe.
Hollie Graham's friend, Shannon, wrote a nice, long letter. Surprise. And Denise Sheffey wrote, too.
Elder Steuart packed mostly all today and tonight.
Phyllis called. (Our Real Estate Agent.) She's been meaning to give us our shed key. We went over to her house because she had some pain reliever. I have the worst headache, runny nose, and earache. I had cotton in my ear today, advice from Morley, who I called this afternoon.
Ed Shim had to cancel. Linda is sick. But he wants us to arrange to meet to have Italian. They want to treat us for helping them out. That's nice of them. We'll have to do that.
Good night!
