Oct 24th - Well, today was yet another great working day! Elder Wilson called early this morning to check on a few items of business.
Rogers and I tracted out Pennsylvania Ave in the Villas. We taught a 17-yr old Sam Gellura; home; sick from school. We taught a discussion 00 and moved right into a really good, attentive, and smooth, first discussion. Our testimonies were firm and short and he did commit to share the Book of Mormon with his parents and return appointment for Thursday.
At the end of the block, we taught three ladies a discussion. They asked for our phone number, but no commitment.
We went home to do phone contacting. I taught a discussion 00 over the phone to a woman, Mrs. Green, from Sea Isle City. She was nice. However, no commitment.
Ann Wilson dropped off breakfast items on her way home from work. Very thoughtful!
And Jennifer Heller was in the neighborhood visiting. We talked a minute to her.
Then we headed out to Linwood, stopping at Wendy's for a burger on the way. We spent the night at Elders Wilson and Dickie's.
