October 25, 1994

Elder Wilson, Dickie, and us went to the Linwood Ward this morning and there met the Span-Ams: Beam, Block, Gledhill, and Hix; plus our ride was Sister Marchant. We picked up Elders Perkins and Bailey on our way to Moorestown, in the North Zone.

I was asked to accompany the hymns and we began Zone Conference with inspections at 9:30am.

Elders Morrissette, Powell, Steuart, and Horne were all there. Workshops were given by Garner on the 7-Layer Member work; Wilson and Dickie did a workshop on the 5th and 6th principle of the first discussion, including role-playing; and Elders Steuart and Porter did a workshop on developing a vision of 102 baptisms along with the goal. I enjoyed Zone Conference and did bear my testimony of the truthfulness of this work.

We arrived home safely at 7:00pm into our area. Gary Fenton canceled going out with us to Don & Judy Buckley's.

So we dropped by Scott Jett and Dave DeFeo's to see if either were available. Denied. We drove to the Buckley's alone.

Judy is inactive. She was born in West Valley, (S.L.C.) UT, and Don is Catholic with an unmemorable childhood.

We taught a great 00 and committed Don to hear the discussions. We'll visit next Tuesday for lunch. He is an EMT. She stays home with her daughter, Kathryn, and 2-week old son, Robert. They plan on moving back to Utah next September.

We got home around 10pm and I talked to Elder Garner. Good night! Oh! Andrea wrote a very thoughtful letter from Germany today.
