November 1, 1994

Nov 1st - I called up some stopbacks this morning and tentatively scheduled an appointment with a lady for Sunday night.

We tracted Frances St. here in Villas and our only luck was being chased by a dog.

Don and Judy Buckley arranged lunch with us today, so we had the chance to visit with their family and present "Together Forever" on video. Don said it "hit home." And Kathy was in tears. I know the tape was good in its message to families.

We dropped by the Becktels on our way home and then headed to the Neutermans.

Bobby loves the BofM Reader I brought over. He knows the Book of Mormon cover to cover. Very impressive.

The 3rd discussion went really well. The family is excited about baptism; church; everything. Mike will be at dinner with the Becktels and us tomorrow night as well as the 4th discussion.

I talked with Elder Elder about the driving on P-day circumstances. He said that "if you use your common sense, and plan ahead, and if you feel the Lord would approve it, do it."

So we'll drive over to a rest stop near Absecon, and have Elder Bailey pick us up. The Zone Leaders get off on their power trips. It is really just enough to make me crazy. We'll see them tomorrow, after all.
