December 1st - Our M.S.F. wasn't in our accounts yet! So I mailed Rachael, Holly, and Shannon a package with my own money. Then we ate lunch at McDonalds after I picked up film at ACME.
We tracted in N.C.M. and taught an older lady who is the mother of 11 children, and sister to a Brother Wayne Johnson of the Vineland Ward, a 00.
We drove back to ACME to use the phone to call our appointment at 2:30pm in Cape May City. Rescheduled. I bought X-mas cards and we bought bug spray to get rid of the little bugs in our apartment.
When we got home, I called our appointment and we got canceled on again. I just called the lady yesterday. Oh - but she's Catholic. Grrrr ......
Well, we then dropped off NBA Jams at West Coast Video on our way to the Walkers for dinner. They just returned from Utah where they spent Thanksgiving. They enjoyed it. Their children were wild again.
All of our District was here when we got home. We offered a prayer and then came to the Altieri's for the Christmas presentation. Wilson, Rogers, and I talked to John in their family room. "I'm really close," he said. We committed him to hear a first discussion next week at our apartment. It went really well. It was neat to see Perkins. He's cool!
Tonight I spoke with Julie McMurray on the phone from her BYU apartment. She is a sweetie. Lately, my mind has been focused on so much stuff rather than missionary work.
Elder Rogers desperately wants to go home. And I am kind of being dragged down. I need to be more committed. I need to repent. I have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and the Prophet Joseph Smith. And I will not give up the greatest two years of joy for two months of home life ever again. I would like to apologize. Please forgive me.
