Dec. 22nd - Rogers was really feeling sick today. So I got 32 phone calls. No returns. Then we did go out for a moment. Prior to going out, though, I got a package in the mail from Chelsea. She sent a tie with a design she painted on it with acrylic. And some rich, delicious fudge from Nora, her mom.
Well, I bought a 7-11 calling card and mailed a package of my own to Chelsea, which included an 11"x14" picture of the Savior and a jar of chocolate chip cookies which I made. And Jayne, our lady friend at the post office, told us how she and her husband looked up some info on our church in the library and how impressed with the "family" our church stresses. So we quickly went through the 00.
I tried calling Germany with the card and an Elder Johnson answered the phone. I hung up. I wonder what phone number I have. I'll call again on Sunday from the Neutermans.
We then got picked up for a delicious hamburger / French fry dinner at the Linzey's. After which, we went to the Neuterman's for the 5th New Member Lesson with Bruce and Amy Becktel. Bruce taught again. Mikey was being a handful. And he and Bobby wanted to wrestle us afterwards. Headache-city.
Rogers took some Nyquil there and we left. He called home when we got back. Then I called Porter. And after that, I talked to Karyn Calkins for about 20 minutes. She's still real sweet. I love her.
And I called Bob, Kathy, Julie, Billy, Matt, and Kelly McMurray after that. And it was great to talk to Bob and Kathy. I asked them to tell Grandma to call me, plus we talked in general, too. And Juliy - my favorite. I love her, too.
Good night!
