January 22, 1995

We went to church early in order to practice teaching discussions for Sister Boyter to pass off one of her awards. She did a good job!

After which, the Stake Missionaries arrived and we had our weekly correlation meeting. In it, we discussed the Open House, Stake '95 Goals, and the Member Workshops for February.

I played piano for Primary because of the join Priesthood / Relief Society meeting.

And Gospel Essentials was on Agency. Rusty Leigh was his usual, humorous self. He's a fellow a bit slow in the head. But makes the funniest wise cracks and belly laughs in Sacrament. I like him.

Sister Taylor and Sister Olson gave great talks in Sacrament Meeting. I really enjoy church here in Doylestown.

We tried the choir after church with Graeme. No thanks.

Brian and Janice Clyber also came to church today. Rick Balasz set up a Tuesday night meeting with him. That's great!

This afternoon, I talked to Joan Riggin. She missed church today. I encouraged her to meet with the elders again. Al Lutz and Nick, his Italian friend, visited. Nick likes the apartment. And I talked to Nick about meeting with Bro. Warden. So we scheduled an appointment next Sunday night.

We ate a pork chop dinner at the Camps home tonight. They are a fun family. We shared an article from the Ensign where Christ is reaching to lift Peter out of the water.

From the Camps, we drove to the church, and we then went with Bro. Bailey out to visit the Carnees who we laughed (fortunately) about missing dinner with. They're older; live on a farm.

And then we visited a younger family, the Youngs. Husband is Jewish; non-member. The boy has cystic fibrosis and the teenage daughter is cute.

And Bro. Bailey throughout the night had the opportunity to sit down and have a conversation about everything. It was cool. I also told him about the Neutermans. Good night.
