January 4, 1995

Jan. 4th - I got another tape from Rachael today. She is in love. It was a nice tape. She's a sweetie. Mom wrote, too. My family really enjoyed Christmas. They went to their Peruvian friends (Walter and Doris') home at midnight as tradition to open gifts. I'm glad they had fun.

We spent our P-day at the DeFeo's. I played Super-Nintendo and they fed us tuna sandwiches and punch. I had an awful headache. Susan gave me a Motrin pill.

On our way home, we drove by SHOP RITE, and I bought 500mg Tylenol Gelcaps for my cold. Rogers is still sick.

Tonight, the Becktels and Rogers went to visit the Neutermans to teach the sixth new member lesson. Of course, Bruce taught it - and then some. Amy complains because she never has responsibilities and then stuff like this happens. Well, she missed a great opportunity to teach with the Neutermans. And Trish says she is making a list of names of Set-A-Date with.

Clint and Daniel Walker and I went to visit Bill and Pinkie Candell and family. We heard all of the latest problems. I love how she just opens right up to us. She's sweet. Her mom, anyhow, had her room light up at 3am and she felt a strong desire to read the Book of Mormon, seven years to the day, that Mike (grandson) gave her a copy. That same day, Mike called saying he was coming home for Christmas. Sooo ... Pinkie is going to call her to set up an appointment. That's cool. It was a good split.

Our downstairs neighbors had a good fight last night turning over stuff in the house. Real noisy. Kind of scary.

Good night!
