January 5, 1995

Rogers and I both had been sick most of last week and again have temperatures and the flu. Grandma wrote and says my Dad is sick now. So there is definitely something going around. E. Porter said to just don't worry so much about the work now as getting better.

I called an old media referral whose papers came in the mail again - Rebecca Steelman, in Sea Isle City. She said she is the 16th of 16 children and had quite a close family. That's incredible. So we'll drop off the video at her house tomorrow.

I also called another media referral, Alisa Read. She works at Burger King and totally gave me the eye on Monday when we ate there. And there she was again today. All of her friends were around. I know what she is interested in. The church? Hmmmm....

We drove down to the Ferry and went through the shop there.

We bought cleaning liquid and a brush to clean up the bathroom, which Rogers singlehandedly did tonight. And ate lunch at McDonald's afterwards.

We ate a delicious spaghetti dinner at the Neuterman's. That's when I really began to feel sick.

We came home and Amy Becktel and Janette Walker were here. But earlier today when we went to the Hinsdales, we found out that Dave and Terri got in an argument and he left to PA without telling us. Sooo ... nothing was planned for tonight and we had to listen to Amy lecture us about getting healthy and Janette griping about the Reactivation Program. The Missionary Group is in such disarray. We need a new leader who knows how to work with the Branch Presidency.

Well, tonight I even talked to Sister Morley and E. Rogers did, too. We got some advice on how to clean the tub and for our illness.

And I took a Contac. Very drowsy. I gave Chelsey a call and apologized to her mom, Nora, for being a nuisance on the phone.

Then Chelsey called me back and we talked for a minute. But I am pooped, so good night.
