February 1, 1995

February 1st - We officially left Danboro today for our new home in Doylestown. There was a slight problem in having the electricity turned on. The Electric Co. operator told me that the Mission called to have the electricity shut off in the old home and gave the new address but never asked to turn it on. So I asked why they would give the new address out if their didn't intend to buy electricity. Duh? Are you going to write me or what?

We went to Sis. Roach's and had lunch w/Boren, Mooy, Ward, Gillespie, Faucett, and Robison. Then we saw Steve Young and Jerry Rice demolish the Chargers. Great game!

Allentown Zone came and we played them in football. (E. Taylor, Folkman, Harrison, Harris, Cheney, Sweat, Vasquez.) I threw 3 TD passes to Garlick. We beat'em good. It was a great game!

Then we went by Weatherill Glasses and I bought a nose piece for my glasses. It was missing.

Oh - and Karyn C. and Sis. Adams (old letter forwarded) wrote.

Then we drove by K-Mart and Garlick bought shoelaces.

Tonight we ate dinner with the Clay family. They were very busy and didn't really talk to us. Amy did. She's sweet. But it was hectic. Oh well.

We got settled into our apartment tonight is all.

What I saved for last today was our teaching the seminary class today. That was cool. I taught Alma 9. Garlick did ch. 8. I loved it. I tried to be an exciting teacher - a new style. It was a lot of fun. Hope we do it again.
