February 5, 1995

Feb 5th - We had a productive correlation meeting this morning dealing with the Open House and splits most productively.

Church was so good today. Joe Horner showed up for Gospel Essentials and Sacrament! And I bore my own testimony in Sacrament. Plus, the opera singer, Bro. Cole, blessed his baby, Kyle, who is born with Down Syndrome. It was a very emotional blessing; a tremendous outpouring of the spirit.

Ronda B. gave me the shirts she dry cleaned at her work. Look good! I just love this Ward!

And the sisters and us planned the member workshops for the 12th and 19th after church.

Then Graeme, Sis. Hinsdale and us went to his office for a lunch to break the fast and then to Philoem; a Baroque musical group of 4 (violin, gamba, flute, recorder, harpsichord, soprano) at St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Doylestown. Excellent.

Then we were treated to dinner at Mexican restaurant in Chalfont. My dinner was so hot. I vomited 5 times afterwards it was that hot. Good food. Way hot!

We then visited Marie Goff and I just talked and talked with her. She was confirmed by Garlick. She is real sweet. There was a concern about coming to church. She goes to work at 11am. I go, "Is this still a free country? Can't you worship God?" Only an hour! She's going to talk to her boss about it. Sweet! Plus, we invited her to the Open House and to please bring a friend. Then I did numbers with everyone.

Boyter / Larson are having problems. Larson doesn't talk, from what Boyter says. I told her to call me in the morning. Good night!
