April 14, 1995

April 14th - Good Friday in the Christian World today. We visited Graeme's shop this morning and I talked to the Neutermans while typing up a program for DDM. They seem to be OK. They've had some miscommunication as far as seminary goes. I hope their concern will be able to be resolved.

Elder Taylor gave a great workshop on Area Books. E. Boren and E. Mooy will redo their own as a result. That's good news.

And E. Boren did kind of a charades game at the end of the meeting. Sis. Buck, E. Taylor and I won by one point. Close game.

This afternoon we tracted for quite some time. But, the holiday weekend has really put a lot of pressure and stress into people's lives. So there are more busy folks than usual.

Tonight, we ate dinner at the Bement's home. They had pizza. After dinner, we continued in our efforts to reintroduce the Ten Step Program. Bro. Bement gave us a home teaching list, and volunteered to make a nice, new master copy of the the list. So that's cool.

And this after, I failed to mention that we also did a presentation with Chris and Kim Hopkins. She has a Jewish friend she'd like to give a Book to.

Tonight, we visited Lloyd and Nancy Huber and she shared her grief about Darrell's problems. He's the 17-yr. old inactive. I was glad she could confide in us. Plus, we challenged them with the Ten Step Program. They had a few concerns about missionary work at first, but accepted it.

I am developing a testimony of member missionary work. It is exciting. Good night.
