April 5, 1995

The day of P. Ford service our car this morning. No hassles, I love it. We then drove to the YMCA and tried to fit in playing hoops with these men on their lunch breaks from work. Brutal.

By 3:30pm, we were in Lansdale. Olson drove us to the laundromat and then to Graeme's. Robin cooked a farewell dinner for Olson who is unfortunately leaving for SoWest Philly. Pres. Brown called this morning. They are sending the former Bethlehem Zone leader to me; Elder Taylor.

Tonight, I called Monica Warren. She was surely tickled. What a sweetheart. I was glad to hear she was home and happy.

Plus, I surprised Rachael and called her. Another pleasant surprise.

And I talked to Karyn tonight. I've been away from home for quite a while. I miss parts of home, but I (irregardless of my weaknesses) truly love the Lord and also my mission #1. I'll try harder tomorrow.
