Apr. 6th - Graeme gave Olson the scoop on his area. He grew up down in that neighborhood. Then, E. Lattimer & E. Noel Peterson came with us to lunch at Melrose Diner, near the Vet. Delicious.
Transfers was small! Sis. Bell came down from Allentown to drop off some Span-Ams and my new comp. Plus, I saw E. Graham there. He's now in the Camden misison.
Graeme treated us to Stocie's Shakes on the way home. We then ate dinner with the Roach family.
What I enjoyed most about dinner, was the present we were able to share afterwards: the scripture from Jeremiah 16:16 on "hunters and fishers." Taylor challenged Janice Roach (mom) to pray that she would have missionary experiences. We'll call next Thursday to follow up. Plus, I left a Thank You note in their restroom on our way out. That was nice.
E. Taylor has all kinds of ideas and great forms we're going to use for our area book. He is so awesome.
We got him some groceries tonight and he GQ'd a lady in the store. And we visited our neighbor, jan, who pulled up as we got home.
The Spirit led me to unbelievably ask about family history, for some reason. She's adopted. And the records of her natural folks may be burned, as many were in Louisiana, she informed us. We suggested the Family History Center at the ward.
Don wrote today asking about the church. He wants to locate a family who helped him out a while. back. I'll have to help him out.
Holly and Rachael wrote. My parents and Grandma wrote. And Sister Stone (engaged for a summer wedding) wrote. Lotsa letters! Good night!
