April 9, 1995

Apr. 9th - Church. Teresa, and a friend of hers from South Carolina, were up at church today, excited about her baptism tonight. Gospel Essentials was on Priesthood. I really enjoyed Sacrament Meeting. The testimonies borne were very powerful and I loved listening to them because my spirit was filled.

Bro. Larsen even purchased a necktie trinket for me. What a thoughtful brother. I love the Doylestown Ward. What beautiful people!

We worked on our PIP Awards after church. And then tracted the WOOD EDGE apartments near Dublin. One bash after another. Mostly Born Again Christians. Even Taylor was getting in on it. Bold. Experiences I care not to dwell on. We did place a book and teach 2 discussions. But what a colorful and animated day tracting. Plus, we set up appointments during the week.

We finished up the area book and headed to the baptism. Beforehand, we administered to Sis. Buck. I played "Master, the Tempest Is Raging" before the actual baptismal ordinance. It was good enough to impress the members in attendance. I wish I knew it better.

Teresa seemed shy. But, she was ready for baptism. I am very excited for her. I stood in the confirmation circle. And, Teresa's daughter, Caitlin, was given a blessing also. It was a beautiful service! Numbers night. Zzzz
