October 26, 1994

Oct 26th - We drove into Wildwood this morning after a good night's rest to visit George Burgess at the Recreation Center. There we also played hoops and some pool, plus we talked with George. He played BYU with Jim McMahon and won the '84 National Championship. George is inactive, unfortunately.

This afternoon we did laundry at the Becktel's. Christine Eisele was there helping Marion Ward. Bruce and Amy finally came home. Bruce went with us to dinner at the Neuterman's. Amy went to the Kessler's for the 5th new member discussion.

Dinner was a fantastic chicken dish. Michael was not home. He was called into work on a trip. So we did the discussion after reading and going over 3 Nephi 11 with the rest of the family.

During the 5th Principle on baptism, I felt a strong prompting to ask the family to be baptized. I knew it was right! They said Yes! Nov. 13th was set and we went with that + we scheduled the remaining discussions and baptismal interview.

We finally finished the discussion leaving them hungry for more and anxious to continue in prayer and reading the Book of Mormon.

Hopefully, Michael will approve. They are all very much enjoying the discussions and the members they said, were very helpful! It was a great discussion.

We dropped Bruce off. I called Pres. Morley with a questions concerning Michael. He was baptized LDS, but also was baptized into other churches. D&C 22 says that as long as you were baptized LDS it doesn't matter who else tries or wants to. What a great day!
