Jan. 16th - This morning we made some phone calls and then we left. Got gas; then we went tracting in Doylestown. One lady: Diane Doden, invited us back at 5pm. That was cool.
So we had our car washed on the way home and Elders Gillespie and Ward drove up from Glenside. They like the new apartment and, Sister Brown tells me, we can move in at month's end. Cool.
After that, I made up the hour of morning study I missed, calling in numbers for the first time to the Zone Leaders. Hectic.
We left close to five. I'd called Chelsea to tell her about the gas station lady.
Diane initially wasn't home, so we tracted a nearby street. After one house, we looked over to her home, and her just pulled in the driveway.
She let us in, and we taught a powerful 00 and first discussion. E. Garlick is a great teacher!
Dianne, unfortunately, may not have the best circumstances right now to investigate working two jobs and Delaware Valley College beginning this week. She's from No. Illinois and a student here. Born Catholic. It was a great discussion.
Then we drove to Brett Smith's. Chrissy is his wife. She cooked up "broccolini." It was chicken, broccoli, and pasta. Good! We kicked back and had a great discussion! They are cool!
And tonight E. Garlick and I planned for tomorrow.
I talked to Joan (gas) and gave her my number. She heard I left a message this morning and it made her smile. I love her. Good night!
