Jan. 17th - Today wasn't too good at all. We spent a good portion of time this morning with Elizabeth and Matthew Garlick at their home in Point Pleasant. They showed us their genealogy. It was real interesting. They talked a lot. And the conversation never really centered on the church at all. So we'll have to call them to reschedule for a discussion.
We then had lunch at Nat's Pizza. When we got home, I was dribbling a basketball. Garlick went for the steal and knocked the ball. It hit my face and broke the lens out of the frame. So I had to go to 2 shops to have them fixed and adjusted. Free.
We then went tracting for 2 hours or so, near where we tracted the other day. We taught one lady out on her porch, but that was it.
Tonight we had dinner by ourselves before we drove to the Bailey's home. Sister Bailey fed us. She is absolutely beautiful. So we talked. We soon realized that our split with Rick Balasz and Bro. Bailey fell through. We talked to both of them. Still at work.
So we said good-bye and headed to Joe Horner's to meet him. He is less-active. Has a fetish for LDS-authored books. Likes to trade. We talked to him for awhile. Then I did numbers. And Garlick and I planned for P-day.
