February 12, 1995

Feb. 12th - The Dunlop family drove us to Stake Conference at the Broomall Chapel. It was a treat to hear Pres. Morley speak on the Holy Ghost. The Wash. DC Temple Pres. Bradley spoke on prayer and eternal life. And Stake Pres. Temple spoke on humility; a great talk.

I also got to see Morrissette again. Garlick got his shoes that were missing since X-mas basketball, or New Years. And I also met my fav' sister, Roxanne Olson. She was a Ms. Arizona or something as a teenager. I was training the month she entered the mission. She's always been so nice to me.

Sis. Roach fixed us a lunch that we ate on the ride home with the Dunlops. It was fun to laugh with the daughters, Jackie, Cydney, and Jen. They are a blast.

Garlick got sick off of food or something. So he rested this afternoon. I wrote my talk for church next Sunday. Then we drove to Graeme's and I printed it up on the computer. It's on the effectual door.

We then drove to the church for the member workshop. Bro. Bailey wanted to cancel it altogether. He never really caught the vision of it.

Sis. Boyter taught the first half of the workshop. And I conducted a group discussion / role play after that. Bro. Bailey really wasn't too thrilled. Oh well ...

(I talked to Judy Buckley the other night, I forgot to mention. I almost cried; I was so happy when she told me that when E. Rogers gets off his mission, she wants, or rather, Don wants him to baptize him! Just by being a friend and example, I was so thrilled! Good ol' Don! I'll be there to witness that for sure! Hopefully I'll be able to confirm him! That was just awesome!)

And I also spoke to Trish & Angela Neuterman tonight. They just might come up next Sunday when I talked about them in church. That would be great.

And tonight I did the Goal Sheets for the week with E. Gillespie. Good night!
