We taught a Christian, Jack, off of tracting, and on his porch. He expressed his feelings about how he admires our church, and I still wonder what keeps good Christian brothers and sisters from becoming members of the Christ's restored church. He loved the Lord, but didn't want too much to discuss doctrine.
This afternoon, we engaged in service at the YMCA. We played outside and in the gym with the children. A number of them attend the local Catholic school.
This evening, I received a package from my family and another from my grandparents. That was awesome!
And tonight, I gave Sister Buck a blessing of comfort. She and Sis. Boyter had an inventory. I hope things work out over there.
Tonight, Rick Balasz took Elder Olson on a trip to an inactive home, but were never able to locate it.
Bro. Larsen took me to the home of Andrew and Lillian Gucken for a lengthy visit. We were able to teach the Plan of Salvation to Andrew and invite him to participate in the lessons. He is a funeral director and involved with the Catholic church. Not interested right now. We love him. It was a great visit.
And also Lillian expressed her feelings about the circumstances as to why she is bringing her grandson to Quakertown to church there, and not Doylestown. I hope that concern is resolved soon.
The Relief Society had a celebration at the church tonight. They fixed us a plate of food. Jamie Cliver did, actually. She is beautiful. It was real nice to talk to her. I hope we're able to meet with Brian and Jamie soon.
