March 30th - We tracted out an entire development in Warrington. We weren't able to find anyone interested, but, we did visit on our last door - we met a follow-up visit with Dick Kennedy. E. Gillespie & Olson taught him a 1st last weekend. He had a lot of good questions for us. But, ultimately, he said to us that he was too old to convert. I don't believe we uncovered the real reason as to why he wasn't interested. We both were down because he turned us down.
This afternoon, we had our service at the YMCA. I built a house with LEGOs.
And this evening, Elder Olson packed for his split.
We then drove to the Wirth's home for the first time. I requested chicken divan and boy was it delicious! And we had a chocolate and also a strawberry pie.
During the meal, Sis. Wirth told me of some problems with the elders in Jarrettown: Boren & Mooy.
I even talked to the Sis. Onorado on the phone, from Jarrettown and she told me she was concerned because they are watching TV and spend too much time in members' homes - especially one particular couple.
So I talked to those Elders on the phone tonight and hopefully was able to share my concern appropriately.
What was so great about our D/A was that we read the poem with the pictures and were able to narrow down their friends to a couple - one's a construction worker, his wife is going back to school. They will try to have them over for dinner. Great presentation!
