April 16, 1995

April 16th - Happy Easter! Where was I last year? Crying my eyes out as Lena Johnson sang "His Hands" in Sacrament Meeting.

Well, this year the entire Ward became the choir and sang a Primary Easter song, "Hail, The Glad (Easter) Festival Day" under the direction of Graeme Watson. Very nice. I enjoyed the spirit of the meetings. I ordered missionary name tags last week for two of the Blazers at church. I gave one of them to Bro. Kalt's son. He looked so thrilled when he got it. That was cool.

Plus ... Nancy came to church! I was thrilled. She does have two illnesses, but she seemed so attentive and eager to learn and participate in church. After church when I asked her how she felt, she said, "At home." I continue to be amazed at the love my Heavenly Father has for me.

We ate a filling lunch with the Bailey family. We visited the Sisters for a moment down the street with the Barclays. And then had a stuffing Easter feast with the Wirth and Ballard family; plus some other members including Patricia Hoff, were there. Stuffed!

Tonight we visited the home of Bishop and Sister Knight. What a sweet and beautiful family. We made some copies for the Sisters.

I got numbers done tonight. 7 discussions this week. And the District is still barely on track for the Standard. Two more weeks. Good night!
